Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the result experience; Bridgeton Residents Directory does not keep its own copy of those searches. A message sent through a contact route contains only the information included in that message and is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting systems create normal logs such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. Aggregate review helps maintain the service and understand which reference pages are useful. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and, when present, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
Technical data is used to operate the service, resolve problems, measure traffic, and improve the reference pages. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services and Links
Bridgeton pages link to city, county, and New Jersey portals, archives, library collections, and third-party search services. Each destination controls its own privacy practices for information submitted there. This includes sponsored search results supplied by an outside company.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process the technical logs needed for this service. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires disclosure, and otherwise is not shared.
Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. There are no user accounts, passwords, or visitor profiles maintained by Bridgeton Residents Directory.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor sent personal information, and it will be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where a visitor lives, that person may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data a service keeps. The New Jersey Data Privacy Act, P.L. 2023, c. 266, effective January 15, 2025, provides rights for covered consumers subject to its terms and exceptions. Because this service keeps very little, a request generally involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant server logs. Use the Contact page to make a request. A public record held by a New Jersey, Cumberland County, or Bridgeton custodian must be addressed to that custodian; this private service cannot remove or change it.
